Freeze Frame

⛄ Pygame Community Winter Jam 2026 ❄️:

PROJECT-NAME: Freeze Frame V 1.2

MAIN-OBJECTIVE:

- Finish all 15 levels and collect as many coins as possible

GAME-BRIEFING:

Explore dangerous snow maveren's as a mighty little penguin! Careful, avoid enemies

and make sure to freeze any you see! Enemies range from very weak, to very strong. Freeze

slime spitballs enemy slimes shoot. Freeze water to get through paths to the end. Make sure to
collect as many coins as you can as you go! Collect the key and run to the igloo to advance to the next level! Have Fun!

GAME-FEATURES:

    ENEMIES:

        - Snow Slime: Weakest enemy, can walk around and follows you, shoots only one bullet, if touched, player dies

        - Purple Slime: Strongest Enemy, can walk around and follows you, shoots two bullets at once, if touched, player dies

    PLAYER-MOVEMENT:

        - Player movement is top-down movement

    FREEZING:

        - Players are able to freeze enemy slimes for a short period of time. Slimes eventually unfreeze and after a random amount of freezes, slime decays

        - Freeze projectiles midway through the firing of enemy slimes, projectiles turn light blue

        and disapear once frozen

        - Players can also freeze water to manuever through paths to reach the igloo

 - Music: Music was made by my school friend, sound effects were downloaded from a public domain

 - All pixel art and animations were made by me, except the snow background (not tiles or anything else), was made by ChatGPT by OpenAI

 - Code was created by me, but sometimes I used Claude Agent from Visual Studio Code for some minor debugging (code I added and removed and actual debugging was programmed by me, but tips and help was from Claude)
